Secondary schools and S1 posting

Enter a PSLE score to see schools whose last cut-off covers it, or search near home for the daily commute.

Tips
  • Lower scores are better. A range shows last year's first and last posted student; it moves a few points each year.
  • Filter by CCA, subject or DSA talent area, or by IP, SAP, single-sex and affiliation.
  • Tick the affiliated box if your child is from an affiliated primary school for the more generous range.
How PSLE scores, posting groups and the new exams work
PSLE score (4–32)
Each subject gets an Achievement Level from AL1 (90 and above) to AL8 (below 20). The four ALs are added; 4 is the best possible score.
Posting Groups 1, 2, 3
Under Full Subject-Based Banding the score maps to a posting group that sets where each subject starts: G3 (most demanding), G2 or G1. Students can take subjects at different levels.
Cut-off point (COP)
The score of the last student posted to the school last year. SchoolFinder shows a range from the first to the last student. Affiliated primaries get a separate, more generous range.
Integrated Programme (IP)
A six-year track that skips the Secondary 4 national exam and leads to A-Levels or the IB. IP intakes have their own, most competitive cut-off.
SEC replaces O- and N-Levels in 2027
From 2027 all students sit the Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate, with papers at G1, G2 or G3 level.
JC admission: L1R5 today, L1R4 from 2028
JAE uses first language plus five relevant subjects (gross aggregate 20 or better to qualify). From the 2028 JAE it becomes L1R4. Millennia Institute already uses L1R4.
